 The health check performed evaluates cardiovascular risk.- It profoundly measures the level of fitness and cardiovascular health, with a wide range of medical tests.
- It is aimed at adults who wish to know if they have the correct level of cardiovascular health, and how to improve it. This screening is a method of prevention but also indivudual diagnosis and prognosis of cardiovascular health.
- There are two types of Screening: Complete and Advanced.
Generally included is a complete physical examination, related to weight, nutrition, and health. Assessment tests of lung, heart and muscle functions, a full blood and urine analysis and a stress test to assess the health and physical condition of the heart. There may be additional tests required depending on each individual patient.
- The Advanced screening includes a more extensive and sophysticated blood test, for a fuller assessment.
- The process consists firstly, of a Full Consultation, in order to best define the components of the screening according to the needs and wishes of the patient. At this Consultation the time and date of the appropriate tests are established
